Chocolate Chip Cookie Cheesecake Bars

This is one of my favorite desserts! I am a big cheesecake lover!

You will need:
  • 1  cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2  rolls refrigerated chocolate chip cookie dough
  • 2 packages (8 oz) cream cheese at room temperature
 First, you heat your oven to 350°F. In a separate bowl whisk the cream cheese, sugar and eggs until the mixture is smooth. I like to use raw sugar, but white sugar will work as well. It’s ok if the mixture is not completely smooth. It will even out in the oven.

Remove one and a half rolls of cookie dough from the package, break up the dough and press it evenly in the bottom of an un-greased pan to form the bottom crust.

Pour the cream cheese mixture over the cookie dough. Then crumble and sprinkle remaining 1/2 roll of dough over cream cheese mixture so that you can see the cheesecake mixture between the dough.

Bake it for 35 -40 minutes or until golden brown. Refrigerate it for at least 2 hours before you cut them into bars.
