As a peanut butter and marshmallow lover, these are quick and easy snacks when you have a sweet tooth. Aside from the part about this being a dessert, it also has some health benefits: dark chocolate (antioxidants), peanut butter (protein), bananas (potassium). The rest of the stuff just tastes good.
You will need:
- graham crackers
- 1 banana
- 2-4 marshmallows
- 2 tbsp peanut butter
- 2 small dark chocolate squares
Take four halves of graham crackers and lay them out like you were making a sandwich. Spread one side with peanut butter and place a chocolate square on the other.
Then take the banana and slice it thin. Add to a bowl with the marshmallows and place in the microwave for 10 seconds. The marshmallows will start to melt and the bananas will get soft. Take a fork and mix them together.
Then remove the bananas and spoon them over the peanut butter side of the graham cracker. They will have an extra sweet taste from being mixed with the marshmallows.
Cut the marshmallows in half and place on the opposite side of the graham cracker. Place together carefully (with or without the marshmallows because you have the marshmallow flavor regardless) and eat. I also like to wrap it in tin foil and freeze it.
Delicious dessert or snack! Frozen or hot. You can even wrap it in foil and place in the oven to make the marshmallows nice and golden brown.
