When I first made this I thought that it was nothing special. However, I was wrong! Not only is it easy, but it is very addicting. The heat of the wasabi, the creaminess of the cream cheese and the salty soy sauce makes this a party in your mouth. Everyone at my house loved this. It’s a great appetizer and so easy.
You will need:
- 1 block cream cheese (reduced fat will work as well)
- Wasabi sauce (I used Gold’s Wasabi Sauce)
- 1/2 cup chopped scallions
- low sodium soy sauce
- rice crackers (to dip)
Remove the cream cheese from the wrapper and place on a plate. Pour the wasabi sauce over the top of the cream cheese. On the plate around the cream cheese pour soy sauce so it covers the plate. Sprinkle the chopped scallions on top. Serve with rice crackers. You will not be disappointed.
