Flourless Chai Pancakes

This recipe is similar to my post on Banana Pancakes. This one just has more spice. I prefer not to have the same breakfast every morning, so pancakes work well since you can change the flavors from time to time.

You will need:

  • 2 egg whites
  • 1 mashed banana
  • 1/2 tbsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tbsp nutmeg
  • 1/2 tbsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tbsp ground cloves

For the Topping:

  • 1/2 cup greek yogurt ( I used dairy free)
  • almond milk (to smooth out the greek yogurt)
  • 1/4 tbsp nutmeg
  • 1/4 tbsp cinnamon
  • 1/8 tbsp ground cloves

Mash the banana and mix with the egg whites, baking powder and spices. Prepare as a normal pancake. For the topping, mix the greek yogurt with the spices and a small amount of almond milk to thin out the mixture. Enjoy!!
