My breakfast usually consists of oatmeal, eggs or pancakes. However, it is nice to have something different for a change. This wrap is light and easy to assemble. This recipe was inspired by my mom and step dad. They love greek yogurt. The drawer in their fridge is filled will various greek yogurt flavors. Next to the containers of greek yogurt are bowl of fresh berries (blackberries, strawberries, raspberries, blueberries). This is a new way to eat your greek yogurt and berries. You can even take this in the car on your way to work.
The combo of peanut butter flavored (PB2) greek yogurt, strawberries, bananas, honey and almonds tastes like you are eating a delicious pastry. If you were wearing a blindfold, your mouth wouldn’t be able to tell the difference. You will be seeing many more breakfast wraps in my blogging future.
You will need:
- 1 whole wheat wrap ( I used Rudi’s Gluten Free Tortillas)
- 1/2 cup plain greek yogurt (I used dairy free)
- 2 tbsp PB2
- 1 banana
- 4 strawberries
- sliced almonds
Mix the greek yogurt and PB2 together and spread onto the middle of the wrap. Place the sliced bananas on top.
Then add the strawberries and roll it up. Drizzle honey on top and sprinkle a few almonds on top.
