Brussel Sprout Pear Smoothie

I was attempting to use my nutri bullet to make a shredded brussel sprout salad. However, that did not work out. My brussel sprouts became a puree. I thought it would be a good idea to add some fruit and make a smoothie, so I did. To my surprise, brussel sprouts ARE drinkable. I always thought they would taste terrible. I added a pear and some almond milk and it was a great afternoon snack. I was full for hours.

You will need:

  • 6 large brussel sprouts (chopped and raw)
  • 1/2 cup almond milk
  • 1 chopped pear

Place all ingredients into a blender or nutri bullet and blend. It is much tastier than it sounds!
