Cherry Protein (Egg White) Oats

I’ve seen the term “Egg White Oats” all over pinterest and instagram and was very interested in making it. I put together my own version based upon how long it took my oats to cook. I love eating oatmeal in the morning and am always looking for ways to add extra protein to my meals. There is always the protein powder option, but I think this tastes much better. Besides, I am a huge fan of egg whites. I eat them once a day, and sometimes twice.

You will need:

  • 6 chopped cherries
  • 2 tbsp liquid egg whites
  • almond milk
  • 1/2 cup instant oats

Take the instant oats and place in the microwave with the almond milk for 1 minute. Then stir in the egg whites and chopped cherries and place back into the microwave for 1 minute and 20 seconds. Thats all!
